The state-of-the-art infectious waste incinerator installed at the Trincomalee District General Hospital under the project to improve infectious waste management by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JAICA) was inaugurated today (05), under the patronage of the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, t was opened to the public with the participation of Eastern Governor Professor Jayantha Lal Ratnasekera, Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra and the Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Akio Isomata.
