The inaugural ceremony of the 50th Annual Academic Session of the College of General Practitioners of Sri Lanka (CGPS) was held at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo recently. Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa expressed these views while participating as the chief guest at the event.

The theme of this year’s session was “Transforming Primary Care: General Practitioners at the Heart of the Community.
The 50th Annual Academic Session of the College of Family Physicians of Sri Lanka provided a unique platform for knowledge exchange, professional development and collaboration among family physicians, specialists and healthcare professionals from across the country and beyond.
