The first program of the “Arogya” Mobile Health Clinic Program, which is being conducted for the well-being of government institution staff and their family members, is being conducted in Ja-Ela, focusing on the Gampaha District, for Sri Lanka Police officers.

The Minister of Health and Mass Media emphasizes that among public servants, police department personnel show the highest rate of non-communicable diseases.

Over 600 police personnel representing the Kelaniya, Gampaha and Negombo Police Divisions participated in this “Arogya” mobile health clinic, which was held under the theme “Healthy Sri Lanka” for a healthy country.

This mobile clinic offers Western medical clinic, eye clinic, body mass index testing, specimen collection, laboratory services, blood pressure measurement, Dental clinics, blood sugar testing, cholesterol testing, Ayurvedic medical clinics, psychological counseling services, medication administration, and nutritional advice were also provided.
