Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA)

Foreign Placement Coordinating Centre (FPCC) was established to facilitate Post Graduate trainees and Medical Officers to find overseas placements. This programme would lead to assure the quality of overseas training component for PG trainees and to earn foreign currency for Sri Lanka.
FPCC coordinates with other respective institutions to help doctors to prepare themselves to gather necessary qualifications and to complete other requirements in order to apply and work abroad.

 
 
 
Vision

To promote Sri Lankan healthcare system up to the international standards by creating opportunities for Post Graduate trainees to train at best centers in the world and through the experience medical officers gain during their foreign placements

 
Mission

To facilitate Post graduate trainees to complete their overseas component of the training in a much coordinated manner.
To develop a mechanism for Medical Officers to take foreign placements for a limited time and to generate foreign currency.
